Transnational meeting in Vilnius, Tavo Europa 13-15 September 2023

👋🇱🇹 Hello from Vilnius! We spent these last few days at our partners from Tavo Europa at a project meeting where we had the chance of talking about:
our project overview, general matters and the evaluation of the project progress
results, impact measurement and dissemination
the finalization of the Guide on best practices for transnational cooperation for rural youth engagement
the finalization of the Methodology for organizing rural youth parliaments as tools for active engagement of young people in disadvantaged communities

The meeting was coordinated by the project leaders, Asociatia GAL Napoca Porolissum and we had the outstanding contribution of the our partners from Learning for Integration ry and Ploeuc-L’Hermitage.
We also took our time to visit the wonderful city of Vilnius, the Vilnius National Library where we gathered for our meetings, a museum, and other amazing touristic spots you have to discover yourself if you plan to visit the capital of Lithuania.

Transnational meeting in Helsinki, Learning for Integration 7-9 December 2022

Our project Rural Youth Parliament Erasmus + is moving forward, and last week we met in Helsinki, hosted by our Finnish partner Learning for Integration ry
The meeting targeted one of the main results of the project, namely the methodology for organizing rural parliaments. We also talked about dissemination, about the project site and how we planned to take our project further.
🎄We had the opportunity to visit and admire the Helsinki Christmas fairs, the national museum, the Central Library Oodi and the exhibition of Akseli Gallen-Kallela at the National Museum and attend another Erasmus+ event.
🇫🇮 We had a great time in Finland, we can’t wait to see our partners again, but until then, may we all have a bright and warm holiday!

Transnational meeting in Gilău, Romania, LAG Napoca Porolissum (Kick-off meeting) 27-29 April 2022

Our Rural Youth Parliament Erasmus + project has had the best kickoff meeting we could wish for and this is a video that tells both its story and the project’s main focus, and that is involving young people in the community.
Not only we had the chance to meet in person for the first time, but we had a great time talking about the project’s goals, results and activities. At the start of our project, we are eager to find out more about each partner’s youth community and to bring young people together in what we call simulations of youth parliaments.
Mrs. Adina Pascoiu, president of LAG Napoca Porolissum – Romania, Mrs. Ada Deac, expert in rural development at the same association, Donatas Verseckas, president of Tavo Europa Association – Lithuania, and Anastasia Diatlova from Learning for Integration ry – Finland took their time to present their activity in the community, the importance of Erasmus + in the E.U context, and their expectations at the end of the Rural Youth Parliament Project.

Learning, Teaching, Training Activity in
Plœuc-L'Hermitage
12-17 June 2023

📍🇫🇷 Our Rural Youth Parliament project had its latest LTT at our French partners from Ploeuc-L’Hermitage, where we spent a productive week, full of activities applied to the project, interesting visits and many things to learn that we will apply in the community.

#Day1: We were welcomed by Mayor Thibaut Guignard, we learned more about the activities of the municipality of Ploeuc-L’Hermitage and especially how it involves young people.
We felt good during some icebreakers that released the atmosphere, we consolidated as a group and we had the opportunity to get to know each other better.
We have also prepared a small scenario for the interviews you will see soon: a small video surprise that we are working on now. We went to the library in Ploeuc-L’Hermitage where we were amazed by the facilities for senior members, adults and young children of all ages. In the evening, we took part in a simulation of the city council in the presence of local officials and current members. We discovered how the system works, what are the current issues, how elections are conducted and many other interesting things.

#Day2: We started the day with how to make an effective communication strategy for promoting an event and we watched the video made by us within the #Kickoffmeeting in Romania.

We discovered the Amicale laïque les lutins Association which supports the diversification of school activities and works with students, parents, but especially with teachers. I took part in the training: “How to Become a Young European Citizen” organized by ALDA. We discovered the Amicale laïque les lutins Association which supports the diversification of school activities and works with students, parents, but especially with teachers. I took part in the training: “How to Become a Young European Citizen” organized by ALDA.

#Day3: We started the day with a training session where we learned more about Europ’Armor organization, what projects they have, how they work with volunteers and what exchange schemes mean. We also arrived at Hillion, a nearby town, where we had a training with Maison des Jeunes. They also work hard with young people, first of all they offer them a space to strengthen the group and socialize. From here we went to Trégueux where we took part in a series of short presentations from young people. We were impressed by the activities they coordinate together and the initiatives they promote.

#Day4: We worked intensely on our project, we established the next steps we need to take and what are the results to achieve in the short and long term. We also talked about the importance of dissemination, but also of translating materials into all partner languages and measuring the impact on social networks, respectively website. The briefing and debriefing for this LTT (Learning Teaching Training) brought us closer to the results and main objectives of the project. We also met via Zoom with partners who were unable to get here. We also talked about planned events. We met with COMITE NATIONAL DES JEUNES-UFDG which works with families and young people and rely on volunteers. They start actions to involve young people in the community and bring them together. We talked about the importance of volunteers, about how important it is to rely on them in the long term when it comes to administrative structures. We have observed with great interest and admiration the French model in this regard.

Last but not least, we enjoyed the great weather, we even took a walk on the beach! And we definitely had an incredible experience for which we have to thank our hosts!
